Bob specializes in directing television commercials
that focus on people - real people, actors, celebrities,
athletes, and corporate executives. His award winning style
includes humor, visual storytelling, testimonials and special
effects. Bob offers a combination of creativity, dependability,
and professionalism along with relevant interpretations
and direction of client's storyboards.
Bob grew up on the east coast and started
his commercial film career in New York City, learning the
craft from such legends as Bob Geraldi and Steve Horn. He
quickly rose through the production ranks to become a successful
staff director at ICM films, before venturing out on his
own as an independent director. His travels led him to the
Midwest where he eventually founded Flying Fish Productions,
a highly respected regional production company that recently
closed its doors after more than eleven very successful
years.
His work has spanned both coasts, including
productions from California to New York, and most places
in between. His extensive experience has enabled Egle to
team with award winning directors of photography, production
designers and editors from all over the country. And with
20 years of
production experience, Bob's work has been honored with
numerous local, regional, and national awards of excellence,
including many Addy, Telly, and Monitor Awards.
